Poured clear into my mason mug. Had a thick, white foam the size of Ben Wallace's fro. Great retention and some nice lacing. Sticky stuff.
Aroma has some light piney notes behind the larger citrus hops scents. There is a nice balance of hops along with caramel malt. Not over aromatic.
The flavor once again has the piney and citrus hop mix, with the piney hops maybe taking a bigger part of taste but, the citrus hops still in the starring roll. Nice caramel malt is used to balance and help inject some sweetness.
Low to medium carbonation but well placed to help with the hops. Body is light.
Smooth. Easy drinking American IPA that isn't over the top. Well balanced to add to the drinkability. If the alcohol wasn't so high would be a easy seasoning beer, but two or three would be o' so tasty. Enjoy!
