  • Pours clear with a single finger of tan foam. Retention, ha, quickly became less than a thin coating on the top of my beer. Minimal lacing.

Aroma is big on caramel and roasted malt. There is some fruit on the backend of the aroma. Some small sniffs of alcohol at the end too.

Taste is similar: big caramel malt at the beginning switching too dried fruit and roasted malt in the middle, while finishing with more roasted malt and a splash of bitterness from hops (almost non-existent).

Medium carbonation and body. A nice English brown ale.

Good, easy drinking beer. You have to like big sweetness and malt to enjoy this one, and I do. I wish I had more than one (I need to get rid of a headache). I would definitely have another. Enjoy!
