A: Soft orange gold with slight hazy. Normal off-white foam head of average duration.
S: Super enticing aroma. Sweet tree fruits and some orange citrus. Hard to detect malts and much else, past the fruit...but that's OK.
T: Juicy fruit, with sweetness held in check by a sharp but low bittering hop. It has an interesting spicey tang that's unique. High medium mouthfeel.
O: These dudes know how to make IPA's and DIPA's. It uses an old school hop in a West Coast style. But there's some unique aspects to the taste profile.
Pours quite cloudy with a shot of white foam that doesn't last. Minor lacing at best.
Aroma is full of grapefruit and orange citrus. Abundant. Caramel holds up the malt end of the beer.
Taste is slightly sweet up front, caramely. The middle transitions to the hops. Behold the orange bomb, awesome. There is some residual hops in the finish that lingers slightly.
Medium body, possibly even more. Carbonation is perfect for the style. Hints of alcohol in the aroma and taste. Dry.
This is a really nice base west coast malt profile, allowing the hops to shine. Definitely one to get again. Enjoy!
