  • Poured clear, as far as I could tell. Had minimal brown colored foam that quickly disappeared. The little bit of foam around the ring did leave some lacing.

    Roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate are the strongest aromas. Slight cherries noticeable too.

    Holy mackerel, I didn't expect that! Roasted malt to begin, with a middle of huge, face twisting cherry sourness that quickly retreats and finishes with coffee and chocolate bitterness. What a rush of sensations, especially the cherry.

    Creamy and smooth in the mouth with mild carbonation. Not as big as some stouts are but, hey, this has those wonderful Michigan cherries in it.

    A good stout with a pleasant twist of cherry sourness. I like it. Even with high ABV I think you could enjoy several as there is a refreshing element that doesn't seem to tire the palate. Enjoy!
