  • Poured into my pint glass. So dark couldn't tell if it was clear or not. About a finger of brown foam that became just a thin film on the top. Some lacing.

Aroma is what you expect: roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate with some hidden nuttiness.

Taste follows the aroma: roasted malts, mild coffee, and a big hit of chocolate in the finish. Not creamy.

Big carbonation with a medium body. Probably too much carbonation for the style and a notch below a pop.

This is my third beer tonight and maybe it is just me but not one of them is all that exciting to me. This beer is okay at best, just not doing it for me tonight. If I had this when it was a little cooler, I might think differently. Enjoy!
