Wow.
Sour aroma up front, with subtle fruit flavors in background. Very inviting.
Look, nice hazy gold.

Taste: Sour, tart, complicated, smoothness from oak. This is a great beer. A great beer.

Poured cloudy with a huge velvet tan head, tightly packed. Retention was good and as it receded left some nice lacing.

The nose has some sour notes (tart, pear, and green grape), vanilla (probably from the oak aging), and some spice.

Taste is sweet with a lot of tart and minimal peppery spices. Makes your mouth pucker. Like a sweet tart. Some evidence of alcohol in the middle.

Good combination of body and carbonation that leaves your mouth a little dry.

Different as are most brews from Jolly Pumpkin but I keep coming back for more and want to experience them. The sweetness/sour combination is big here. I couldn't drink more than one glass at a time but I would definitely have another. Enjoy!
