Poured cloudy as do most Jolly Pumpkin beers with their bottle conditioning. Huge, velvet, tan, tightly packed foam with some floaties. Good retention with spider-web lacing.
Aroma has some funky, sour yeast with dried fruit, vanilla, and earthiness.
Dried sweet fruits dominate the beginning of the beer which moves into the sourness that the brett adds. No alcohol evident to the palate. Some spices.
Medium body and carbonation work together to make a high alcohol beer that is easy to drink.
Very good beer and, as usual, as the normal twist from the brewery. I hope fate has me matched with this beer again. Enjoy!
