Pours clear with a slight chill haze. A half-inch of white foam. Retention . Lacing coats the side of the glass, leaving behind wispy remnants.
Aroma of dank, resinous hops greets the sense. Citrus and pine. Light cracker malt brings up the back side.
Light, sweet bread up front. Dank hops start in the middle. Grapefruit bitterness carries in the finish, lingering, possibly to long.
Medium body. Medium carbonation: not assertive. Dry, quickly and thoroughly.
Definitely a west coast centered ipa. The issue with this style: the late, lingering bitterness. East coast style has really over taken my taste buds. Solid just not great. Enjoy1

Beer Notes
Continental Drift is a collaboration between Florida’s Cigar City Brewing and California’s Knee Deep Brewing Co.
For this collab, we wanted to turn the whole continent on its ear and brew a West Coast-style IPA in Florida and an East Coast-style IPA in California.
This beer is unique in that it uses hops processed in four different ways: extract, pellets, whole leaf, and lupulin powder. These diverse hop formats create more hop complexity.
