  • Pours clear with hints of chill haze. Pure white foam disappears quickly. No lacing as the foam has completely dissipated.

    Aroma is subtle. Light malt and tart. Hints of watermelon.

    Taste is a mix of watermelon, lemony lactic acid and brine. The fruit comes early, joined in the middle by brine, shortly thereafter by lactic to give a somewhat pleasant mix of flavors in the finish.

    Light body. Modest carbonation. Dry in the finish. Tart.

    The salt builds up on the back of the throat. As it does, the drink sees saltier, losing balance. I was looking forward to this beer, initially. No longer. It is a nice offering but too salty. Mind you, this is one of my first beers in the style. Enjoy!
