Pours clear with an inch of off-white, tightly packed foam. Retention is about what is expected, always leaving a thing coat. Lacing is immediate, coating and sticky.
Aroma of ripe tropical fruits. Orange. Hints of nuttiness in the back ground.
Taste is bit malty up front, nutty. The middle is a transition over to hops. Ripe, tropical fruits. More hop flavor than bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thin. Much thinner than expected. Boarding on almost watery as the carbonation is on the light end as well.
I had high hopes for this beer. Didn't quite live up to the expectation. The thin body was surprising for an IPA. Lacked complexity. I would have this beer again but the high price point would probably limit those repeats. Enjoy!
