  • Pours clear with nearly an inch of white foam. Retention is average. Lacing is spotty.

Aroma of ripe fruit and citrus. Caramel is big malt backbone, lesser bread.

Taste is caramel sweetness up front. This quickly gives way to grapefruit, orange and a ripe fruity hop blast. Dank hop finish with a high amount of alcohol that burns the back and sides of the mouth. Warm going down.

Big end of medium body, almost big as the alcohol adds to the size. Low end of carbonation. Non-lingering bitterness. Dry.

A nice beer. The one negative: amount of alcohol, that isn't present in the aroma, in the finish of the taste. Definitely a sipper. Enjoy!
