  • Huge amount of pure, white foam that, in spite of the heaping helping, leaves almost as fast at it is poured into the glass. No lacing. Clear. Each pour makes the hissing sound reminiscent of pouring a can of pepsi into a glass over ice.

Aroma of sweet fruit (sweet tart, maybe). Yeast and earth scents late. I couldn't tell you the fruit was guava but the sweet fruit, up front, is really present.

Taste is sweet up front, quickly giving way to a battle of tart and salt in the middle that never really seems to let up. Yeast and earthy finish, somewhat barnyard (wet blanket), that lingers deep into the finish. Definitely dry. Huge battle on the sense when sweet, salt and tart mash up against each other. Fun.

Light mouthfeel. Effervescent and crisp carbonation. Refreshing. Dry.

This is nice light beer but has a nice complexity with balance. Keeps a sweet, salty and tart mix in the cheeks, lingering and enticing oneself for another sip. It is easy to see why this is their monthly seasonal. Nicely done. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • An intense sour smack is followed up with a salty and zesty finish, which comes from additions of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and Coriander. Pear and strawberry flavors helps balance the beer. The salt in this beer lends to the very dry finish.
