Pours with half an inch of pure white foam. Quickly retreats - with nothing left after a very short time. No lacing.
Aroma is straight forward saison (and a light twist): more fruity esters than spice. Lemon, salt and light orange. Thoughts of gose. As it warms, tartness begins to build.
Taste is much different than the aroma as the tart, sour, and salty notes, in the finish, are up front and in your face. Lemon adds to the tartness, lingering in the finish with salt.
Light body with copious amounts of carbonation. It fizzes.
The taste is more vibrant than the nose. Warmth aids the nose. Next one might be a room temperature. More gose than sour saison. Good beer. Enjoy!
"You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer." - Frank Zappa
