Pours clear. An inch of pure white foam covers. Retention is quite nice with quality lacing.
Aroma light sweet, bread malt. Floral, spice, and grassy hops.
Taste is more of the aroma but the bready sweetness is amped up. Grass and spice come in the middle, lingering through the finish. It does a great job of beating down the sweetness. Definitely and early versus late flavor. No off flavors.
Light body with medium carbonation. Crisp and clean.
Nothing fantastic about this beer. It is a just a pilsner; the style isn't exciting. Easy to drink. The aroma is more hop centered while the taste is more malt forward. I would have this beer again but I wouldn't seek it out. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
At Flat12, this spring is all about racing. In tribute to James Hinchcliffe, one of the brightest racing talents out there, we collaborated with James and created Hinchtown Hammerdown, a crisp and refreshing pilsner-style beer now lagered and cold-stored. It’s smooth, drinkable, and goes down fast-the perfect beer for a day at the track!
"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish and worry about my liver.'" - Jack Handy
