  • Aroma: Bold, crisp grapefruity. Very appealing.

1st Taste: Very good mix of hop and malt. Only a faint inkling of the abv level.

Overall: I just like this flavor, plus it's got it own character and personality. The softly sweet malt blends well into fruity hop bite. The cool thing about brews like this are all the flavors that come out (or are imagined)...citrus, orange, piney, pineapple, spicey, biscuity. etc. Don't be mistaken, this is a big boys brew...in alcohol and hop profile. But, if you can handle DIPAs, add this to your list.

  • Had some chill haze (even though I let it warm, might just be a hazy beer) on the pour. Lots of big, frothy, white foam. Good retention and lacing.

Simcoe, simcoe, and then more simcoe. Really nice pine with some citrus notes. Of course there is some malty sweetness to try and help balance.

Bits of sweet malt up front then the hop bomb ensues. Lots of pine hops finishing with citrus hops in the very end. After taste has citrus hops.

Low carbonation and light body are in cahoots for a nice drinking brew. No alcohol noted.

Wow! A really nice beer. Simcoe hops makes for a tasty brew and a nice hop bomb. Good stuff. Enjoy!
