Poured clear with really nice fluffy, yet tightly packed white foam. Nice retention and some really nice spiderman, spider-web lacing.
Umm, yum. The aroma gives the sniffer a big blast of pine and citrus hops. A clever blend that is very soothing on the nose and neither is over powering. Some sweetness up front from the malt.
If this tastes like it smells, this is a home run. Here goes: bingo. Sweetness up front to try and balance out the blast of hops that comes next: pine and citrus wonderment. Some bitterness in the after taste.
Good carbonation and body for the style. A bit of creaminess on the lips as you sip. Nice.
This is damn good but I have had other hop bombs that balance out the lingering bitterness just a tad bit better. Still delicious in ever aspect of the beer tasting senses. Not my favorite Imperial IPA, but really close. Enjoy!
