  • Poured cloudy with floaties into my snifter glass. Two fingers of nice tan, big bubbled foam. The head reminded me of pop foam. The foam ran away into the top of my beer as fast as it could, even made that crackling sound. Very sparse, blotchy lacing, eventually not leaving any.

Aroma has lots of phenols, mainly clove. Grain and bread malt with wheat scents. Dark fruits mix with faint banana esters to add to the complexity. A trace of alcohol on the sniffer too.

Big sweet malt followed by grain and dark fruits. Lots of clove, banana, and wheat mix in the end and the aftertaste to give a pleasant end to a good brew. Just like the nose, lots of complexity.

Huge amount of carbonation (carbonation bomb) with a medium body. Some heat going down the hatch from the alcohol. Rich.

Big combination of malt, spice, wheat, and fruit to give this beer more layers than a fricken onion. Not my favorite style but this is a really outstanding beer within the style. Whether you like the style or not you have to be impressed by this beer. Enjoy!
