  • Poured clear with an enormous, white, bubbly foam. Retention is average and the foam becomes a slight bit frothy as it dissipates. Somewhat sticky, thick foam lines the sides of the glass.

Aroma has sweet, fruity, clove, peppery, and a touch of yeast. The fruit and sweet seem to elevate the overall sweetness scents while the spices make for a spicey combination.

Taste is sweet up front followed by the spicey flavors of clove and pepper. The finish is fruit and a little yeast. The after taste carries clove, fruit, and pepper. Not really any bitterness but there is an ever small hint of sweet tartness in the finish.

Mouth is on the light side but fitting of how it looks with medium carbonation that adds a perfect twist.

A really complex beer that has all the pieces to the style plus it is brewed with pop rocks. Light, clean, and refreshing but the sweetness and tartness that lingers makes it a tough to really have more than one or two. Having it again is a definite. Enjoy!
