  • Poured cloudy with just a frosting of white foam that was less than comfortable staying around. A trace here and there of lacing throughout.

Aroma has fruit, spice, and some alcohol. Yeast and wheat are there but slightly covered by the big waft of fruit.

Taste is a sweet fruity burst to start. Wheat, yeast, pale malt follow with some fruitiness in the finish. Some bitterness that lingers in the aftertaste along with spice. Some alcohol coats my throat making its presence known.

Big amount of carbonation tingles my nose on each sip. Light body contribute to a crisp and refreshing beer in spite of the big ABV.

A complex beer that is on the higher side of the fruitiness by nonetheless is a good, crisp tripel. I haven't had a ton of tripels, especially of the non-American variety so I don't have much to go on. But based on my beer drinking ability and experience (lol) I liked the beer and would have another. Enjoy!
