Poured dirty with an off-white foam that had no retention or lacing. The bottle is better to look at then the beer itself.
Aroma is malty: sweet, roasted, and chocolate with a bit of dark fruit coming through. Some alcohol to boot.
Taste is a picture of the aroma: malts, dark fruits, and alcohol.
Medium bodied with the mouth being dry, yet syrupy with, somehow, a hint or two of creaminess.
A really big beer that is so well done that it is drinkable in spite of the presence of the large alcohol. I shared the bottle and I don't know if I could finish an entire one by myself yet I would seek it out singularly again. Enjoy!
