Amarillo
Poured clear with a huge, frothy, tan foam. Retention was good but not as great as I thought it should have been based on the size of the head. Lacing was sticky, somewhat thick, and splotchy.
Aroma is floral, fruity, and citrus hops that hides a sweet malt backbone.
Taste has a balance of malt and hops without much if any bitterness to the after taste. I felt like there might be a slight touch of bread malt too.
Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. Crisp and easy to drink.
IPAs that are smooth and fun to drink are top notch. A great beer that delivers from start to finish. Enjoy!
