Poured clear with a inch of pure white, meringue, large bubbled foam. Good retention with some very sticky lacing.
Aroma is sweet caramel with the slightest trace of spice hops along with a clean lemon grass, making the aroma seem crisp. Bread malt comes in late.
Taste follows the aroma to a t. Sweet caramel followed by spicy hop with the crisp lemon grass in the finish. There is a bread malt backbone throughout.
Medium body at best with a medium carbonation.
Let me say this wasn't what I expected going in but it was a pleasing beer. The hop profile isn't any where near a west coast ipa. The hop profile is crisp and refreshing. Darn tasty. Enjoy!
