Poured clear with a beautiful, one inch, tan, loosely packed foam. Retention was average at best as it was quickly running and hiding, eventually just leaving a ring around the beer. Lacing is runny and splotchy at best.
Aroma is full of malt as expected. Caramel and toffee with a sweet sense of fruitiness: grape, apple, and even prunes.
Taste has caramel and toffee sweets that last throughout. Fruitiness is evident in the middle and lasts through until the end where a bitterness comes in late, very late while cutting down on the sweet which still lasts.
Medium bodied beer with a medium, at best, amount of carbonation. A bit filling without being a huge bodied beer. Seems to leave a oily residue in the mouth.
The high alcohol wasn't noticeable at all to me but the sweetness from the malt is a definite while the fruits seem to accent that sweet to give a nice drinkability. I could have two or so at most as the sweetness does stay with you. Enjoy!

Pours a rich mahogany with very little head and very little lacing.
Aroma is sweet malt and caramel.
Taste is very smooth and sweet. Lots of rich malts and nuttiness as well as a hint of prunes or raisins. Has dryness on the tongue.
This is an easy drinking beer, but the sweetness may little the number that you have.
