Poured clear with an ample, white foam. Succumbing to time the foam became quite frothy. Lacing is spotty.
Aroma is what typical amber: sweet, caramel, and toffee malt. Some light fruits add a nice layer.
Taste is a lot of sweet with the fruits showing up near the finish and lingering into the end. Really not much bitterness. There is a bite from the carbonation.
Light body, refreshing and crisp. An ample carbonation adds some prickliness to the backed.
I think the light fruit (green grape) seems to play a bigger roll as it warms, which really isn't to my liking in this beer. Otherwise, if you rate this an amber, it isn't bad. On my soapbox: I think to many people rate beers for the style or for the beer people want them to be. A nice drinking ale. Enjoy!
