  • Shared by Mark on TNBC (Tuesday Night Beer Club) with five people total. My four ounces was completely savored and appreciated.

Pours opaque with a tightly packed off-white head. Retention and lacing were both minimal.

Aroma is complex and interesting. Molasses, bourbon, dark fruits, caramel, toffee, and the list could go on for an hour. Everything but the kitchen sink shows and depending on which waft of the beer it was, different scents showed through more strongly.

Taste is more of the aroma. Very complex and interesting. Bourbon and vanilla are both send out good vibes while the caramel sweetness balances the booziness.

The body is lower end of full as it was a bit thinner than expected. The carbonation, as should be expected, was minor but not non-existent.

Are you kidding me? This beer lives up to the hype and surpasses it with flying colors. I wish we had a case of it to partake over and over again. If you can, try even a sip as you will put your senses into overdrive. Enjoy!
