Poured clear with a delightful, inch of tan foam. Retention was quite good with thick, sticky, sheeting lacing.
Aroma is apple and banana fruits on top of some clove, coriander, and cinnamon spices.
Taste is full of goodness. Sweet and thick with fruit tones that define the beer. Spices ride side car but add to the complexity. A touch of hops in the finish with almost no bitterness, if any.
Light carbonation on top of the large medium body.
A solid offering. The alcohol is well hidden but it is there and subtle, so don't be fooled. For the size of the beer still very drinkable and refreshing with the fruitiness. Didn't expect much and I was wrong. Will try to get this again. Enjoy!
