Poured into my New Glarus pint glass cloudy. No floaties, just cloudy. About a half a finger of white head, that found it's way to dissipate quickly. There is some, but little, lacing.
The aroma of the beer is strong citrus. Think of someone throwing a citrus fruit salad up your nose. There is clove, wheat, and possibly some cinnamon behind this one also. Don't get any of the usual banana that is in a Hefeweizen.
There is a lot of carbonation that sticks out throughout the beginning, middle, and end. The flavor includes wheat and clove. The strong citrus that was present in the aroma, takes a back seat, at best, on the palate. The beer is light but the carbonation takes it up a notch to make it feel medium in the oral cavity.
I like this one but it is a bit too carbonated for me. Carbonated to the point that it seemed to block out the real flavors of the beer.
