Beer poured into an English pint glass had four finger thick fluffy, light brown foam. Good retention and lacing throughout this glassful of yummyness!
Aroma of oatmeal, roasted malts, chocolate, and nuts. A deep inhale and the scents of coffee came a wafting. Nicely complex.
The aroma carries over to the taste. Full of roasted malt and chocolate up front and in the middle. The beer finishes with some nuts and a slight bitterness that quickly dissipates. Good stuff!
Surprisingly creamy but just the right amount. Low carbonation and full body. This beer has a lot going on and in a really good and balanced way. Well done beer that can continue to please. Enjoy!
