Poured cloudy with almost no foam, no retention, or lacing. Grapefruit and citrus are very strong on the nose. There is also a faint aroma of caramel sweet malt. At one time I even detected some alcohol.
Loaded with grapefruit and citrus hops on the palate, maybe some caramel malt up front that makes this beer very sweet. But the sweetness quickly vanishes for the grapefruit hops that is also at the other end an unchecked.
Medium mouth feel and lots o' carbonation. I don't mind carbonation in my mouth but this was extreme.
This beer seems to be full of extremes and seems unbalanced at times. The aroma of the beer is the best part of it. The taste goes from strong sweet to highly bitter with nothing in between and nothing to balance it. Definitely hoppy.
If you are a hop head or you like extremes in your beer then see if you can find this one. Enjoy!
