A: Reddish,Orange Amber that's a tad murky. Tan, thin foam head. S: Very unique blend of orange and malt sweet. Kind of reminds me of a candy store smell. T: Sweet, spicy, orange citrus, and alcohol. Low to medium mouthfeel, and low side of carbonation. A little to far to syrupy side for consuming much of this in one sitting. Not sure I've had many wheatwine. And the 11.7% abv is huge. D: Totally unique, unlike very few beers. Very sweet and somewhat of an liquor aftertaste, loses points on...read more

Wow! Orange to hint or red. Thin to no head. Aroma: Orange! As it warms up, the pepper can be noticed in the air. Taste: Sweet, almost sickly sweet. Heavy orange up front. First thought is hint of hops in back, but probably the pepper. As more is drank and the bitter burn goes away the pepper becomes more noticed. Body: Medium. The sweetness borders on syrup which can limit how many can be drank. Balanced in the sense of one maybe two, but sweetness is heavy and keeps this from being...read more

Pours clear with about a half inch, off-white foam. Retention is okay with barely any lacing. Aroma is orange and more orange but strangely not over whelming. Some alcohol with light sweetness. Taste is a bit sweet up front becoming more orange and citrus dominated. A bit of spice comes in the end. Each seemed well balanced and create a very unique taste. Big body with mild splash of carbonation. There is some heat from the alcohol. Sweetness becomes almost cloying. Definite different ...read more

A: Rich mahogany brown. Normal tan foam head of medium S: Burnt molasses, slightly smoked malt, and some cocoa coffee. T: Coffee, dark bakers chocolate. A medium mouthfeel, but finishes thinner and drier than I'd have guessed this stout would be. D: Overall, very good flavors. And original composition in terms of overall experience. I love the rich creamy texture, combined with the dark sweets and bitters. The flavor notes in this brew are all favorites of mine, so I definately give it two th...read more

Pours clear but mostly opaque. A solid inch of a deep tan foam cover the liquid. Retention is average with a thickening while lacing is sporadic but thick at times. Aroma is big on the roasted malt. Molasses seeps in there with a touch of oat scent. Deep coffee, chocolate, even some smoke rears it head. Seems to be ever changing. Taste is bold and complex. Roasted malt is once again the dominant but it gives way to chocolate, coffee, and slight smoke. The coffee and chocolate hang out f...read more

Pours clear with an ample, two inch, thick, off-white foam. As it recedes quite nicely, the foam becomes much frothier and thick. Lacing is there and spotty. Aroma is a little soft. Sweet caramel malt, maybe even a bit of toffee and bread. A bit of floral hops. Taste follows the aroma. Caramel, sweet, and some bread malt. The hops doesn't seem to be there but there is a small hit of bitter. Body is light end of medium with a zesty, crisp carbonation. Seems a little watered down almost....read more

Pours hazy with a white, thin, inch of foam. Retention is fleeting and lacing is non-existent. Aroma has wheat written all over it. Lemon cuts through but there is also a small amount of yeast and fruit. Taste is light as expected. Wheat, lemon, and a surprise of bread in the end that lasts a bit. It adds a nice complexity to an otherwise common beer. Light body with a spritzy carbonation. Very easy to drink. This beer fits the style and, to me, the style is nothing to write home about....read more

Pours clear, of course, with a virgin white, tightly packed, three inch foam. Frothy she becomes as the foam dissipates. Lacing is minor as it quickly retreats back to the glass. Aroma is caramel, toasty, bread/cereal malt; leaning toward the toasted bread. Light, stereotypical hop profile. Solid on the nose. Taste is sweet as most in the style are. Caramel is balanced by a floral hop presence, creating a crisp beer. The toast and bread come quickly after the finish and last throughout. ...read more

Pours clear with a half glass of off-white foam. Retention is about right with a little thickness added to the foam as it recedes. Not really any lacing. Aroma is sweet, caramel malt. A touch of fruity, floral, and lemon grass that seem to come from hops. Subtle. Taste seems to follow. Light up front without much of anything happening. Caramel malt comes in the middle with a splash of hops to ride it out and balance. There is a hint of bitterness very late in the after taste. Light bod...read more

A: Dark honey hued Medium Amber. Semi-thick small bubble head of tan color. S: First my nose encountered a spicey malt sweetness.Maybe banana or clove. Then some fruit and floral notes in the background, perhaps the americanization IPA influence. T: Big flavorful profile, kind of a mini-blast of the flavor spectrum that would include for me: spice, sweet malt, and hop bitterness. Then comes a very clean and dry mouthfeel. Lingering in the aftermath is a tarty tree fruitiness and a hop bite. D:...read more

Poured opaque with an enormous mocha, thick foam. Retention was outstanding with the foam becoming very frothy. Lacing was abundant and sticky. Aroma isn't that big to me but mostly roasted malt. There seems to be a slight molasses sweetness that compliments. Bitter. Too bad the nose isn't on the level of the taste. Roasted malt is once again in the forefront but aided by a cornucopia of flavors: dark chocolate, sweet, dry, coffee, grains, etc. An explosion in the mouth. Medium mouth wi...read more
