Pours clear with a couple of inches of light pink, large bubbled foam to cover. Retention is solid. Sporadic and spotty lacing. Effervescent.
Aroma is strong lactic. Non-descript fruit with light hints of herbal tea.
Taste is huge hits of lactic that build into the middle only to succumb to a finish that . Lightly fruity up front. Tropical fruit is maybe as close as I can get as a descriptor. Somewhat sweet that is swatted away by the lactic acid to pucker somewhat.
Light to medium body, full, small bubbled, carbonation. Very dry.
Interesting beer. I typically don't like beers with tea in them but the subtleness and blend are interesting. The nose brings this beer down: just not enough going on there. It isn't a bad aroma, just not enough going. I would definitely have this beer again, buying a four pack next time. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
A wave of tropical fruit and spice brighten this lively, tart wheat ale, taking the German Berliner Weisse tradition on an island run. Hopfentea, steeped on a house-made tea blend of mango, papaya, hibiscus & lemongrass, pairs well with light appetizers, salads and high humidity.
