From a can without a date. Assuming in the three to four week range.
Pours cloudy with a large bubbled inch of pure white foam that covers. Average retention. Lacing begins immediately but is sporadic, almost wispy. Glows in the glass.
Aroma is hop forward but a bit light. I get citrus: orange and grapefruit. Touch of pine and sweetness. Needs more oomph.
Taste is more forward than the aroma but no where near taking over. Grapefruit, honey dew and pine. The pine lingers a bit leaving a late bitterness deep on the palate. Bread.
Light body but ample carbonation. Sticky on the lips but dry.
A light beer that screams that at you. The hop, although nothing is wrong, just doesn't bring it. I guess it could ruin your palate easily since there isn't much of a malt backbone, heck, none of their beers have much of a malt backbone. There are much better beers that they make but this is solid. Enjoy1
