  • Date on can 10/21/18. Fresh!

Pours with a slight chill haze. An inch of snow white foam covers. Above average retention time. Thick, frothy remnants cover the entire time, creating sticky, sheeting lacing.

Tropical fruits abound. Dank resin layers in front of hints of berries. Pine. Sweet but subtle. Dough.

Taste is sweet throughout. Hops are inviting. Not as sharp as the aroma. Pine, resin and tropical fruits hit home. Sweetness and resin linger.

Light in the mouth. Thin carbonation. Sticky on the lips but dry in the mouth. The foam almost creates a creaminess on the lips.

First new beer I have had the chance to review from Half Acre in a while. Solid offering that could use a bit more hop flavor and more body. Well done and definitely worth your time. Enjoy!

Beer Notes
  • A beer brewed to commemorate a fully evolved, hybrid record store / head shop located in New Hope, PA, as well as all the outposts in small and big towns where you can uncover offbeat essentials.

Brewed with an English ale yeast on 2-row, Golden Promise, Vienna and Flaked Oats, before a flush of Ekuanot cryo and hits of Citra, Simcoe and Comet.

A fully fogged Del Monte fruit cocktail.
