  • A: Definitely hazy, can see through glass. Attractive orangey gold. Nice off-white soft, small bubbles foamy head, of moderate retention. Overall this brew and an appealing look.

S: Pineapple, mango, and maybe grapefruit...full blown tropical small. Complete balance and high appeal.

T: Pineapple and slight grassiness, and some pine bitterness at the end. Appropriate sweetness for the NEIPA style, sweet balanced by hop bite. Good mouthfeel, slightly lower than moderate thickness.

O: Solid NEIPA from a new, small brewery. I believe their canned beers are contract brewed, and their monthly small batch bomber releases are in house brewed in a really tiny facility. I could nitpick that the hop varieties (all from Australia) aren't what top rated US NEIPA's are using. Or that the beer has ever so slightly more hop bitterness than appropriate for style. But I would drink this beer anytime it was offered. And I anticipatehaving future brews from this crew.

  • Purchased at the brewery during their monthly release on Saturday (4 days ago).

Pours extremely cloudy. Copious amount of white foam covers. Recedes like a glacier leaving sticky remnants behind.

Aroma quickly meets the nose after the pour while still on the table. Orange and pine. Some sweet passion fruit joins the fray as well.

Taste isn't as effective as the aroma. Grass, herbal and pine flavors carry the beer. The taste is minimal. Cracker and bread late that both linger.

Body is a bit thin as is the carbonation. Dries. There is a late "hop burn" in the finish that I cannot equate to bitterness but possibly the overall amount of hop material suspended in the beer.

This beer is definitely a nose pleaser. Unfortunately the flavor doesn't quite carry the fantastic fruity aroma. It was hard to say there was much taste up until the finish. Good but missing something in the taste/mouth to make it outstanding. Enjoy!
