Pours opaque/cloudy with an inch or more of pure white foam that covers. Retention is surprisingly fleeting. There is residual foam on top but no lacing accompanies.
Aroma is dank, resinous hops. There is some pineapple and orange like citrus. Sweet. Overripe tropical fruit.
Taste is more of the same from the nose.
Medium body with medium or better carbonation, which can be abrupt at time, combining with the hop resin to make for rough finish. Dry.
The hop profile isn't complex enough for. Would like the tropical profile to me more prevalent. The price point is bit much: $24 for 6, 16 ounce cans is the priciest four pack I have ever purchased that wasn't bourbon aged, which takes enjoyment out of the beer for me. I expect more for the price point. A good beer but not ground breaking or solid within in the style. I would have the beer again but the price point would make me pass. Enjoy!
