From a can with no date. Picked up at Iron & Glass on 4/2.
Typical NEIPA in the glass: opaque with a nice billowing, white head, frothing as it recedes. Good retention. Spiderweb lacing begins immediately.
Aroma jumps out of the pour: orange. Then comes the exact replica of a dreamcicle: milk sugar creaminess envelopes the orange.
Taste gets close to the dreamcicle but not as spot on as the aroma. Tropical, sweet orange. Milky, almost cream.
Medium body and a spritzy carbonation. Smooth. Some bitterness burns the tip which almost seems to come from the carbonation.
The aroma is spot on dreamcicle. Brings back those summer days from childhood. I could waft all day. If milkshake IPAs could all be this well done, I would like them a lot more. Enjoy!
