Pours hazy/cloudy but not NEIPA hazy. An inch of white foam covers. Adequate retention with sporadic lacing.
Aroma of grapefruit, resin, dank, mango, and ripe fruit. Hints of alcohol, sporadically. Nose jumps from the glass: grapefruit and overripe mango.
Taste is a neutral malt backbone. Mango, resin, grapefruit, orange and pine fill the sense. The finish brings a alcohol burn and hint of bitter bite (maybe the alcohol too). The orange really picks up for me.
Medium body with similar carbonation. Dry and not juicy.
This beer tries to cross the line between DIPA and imperial NEIPA. It is clean in the finish outside of some lingering bitterness. Lots of aroma and flavor but not juicy. Solid offering. Enjoy!
