Poured cloudy with a huge, off-white head in my pint glass. Good retention and nice blotchy lacing throughout.
Sweetness and fruit tartness up front on the nose. Definite spice there too; seems like clove. Has a minor reminder of a Hefe.
Sweet and slightly bready up front for the taste. Yeast, clove, and pepper in the finish that stay on the lips. Raisin or plum notes are present with a minor tartness that isn't as strong as the aroma.
Medium carbonation with a body that is a bit bigger. A fulling but enjoyable beer.
The tartness isn't a huge factor in this beer but adds a nice touch. The alcohol doesn't come through at all and helps to make this a very drinkable beer. Enjoy!
