Poured clear with a nice finger of tan, bubbly foam that receded like my hair over the past few years. Retention was non-existent.
Aroma is more of an Oktoberfest type of beer. Still some spice, slight hop, and caramel and grain malt. As it warms I thought I detected some alcohol.
Big grain malt in the end which lingers around for the aftertaste. Some caramel malt earlier in the taste but overall a little light.
Light body and medium carbonation.
Gave my wife a taste and she said it doesn't taste like much. There you go. Outside of the malt not much going on for the palate. It needs more: spice and pumpkin flavors to really fit the style. Enjoy!
