  • Color: Dark Amber
  • Poured hazy with a tan, somewhat frothy foam. Retention was okay and there was some lacing.

Aroma is molasses and earthy, almost musty.

Taste is sweet, caramel up front. The middle is more earthy through the end and there is some hops but hard to find.

Light carbonation and body. I wouldn't say watery or too thin but a light beer.

There was something here that didn't agree with me. It seems like they tried to make their own twist on the style but it came up short. EnjoyQ
