Doing this review from memory as it looks like I lost my notes. Shared a bottle at TNBC. Batch 3.
Poured a nice white foam with okay retention and some splotchy lacing.
Aroma is tart on the nose with plenty of funk. Seems to be the run of the mill for the wild ales that I have had (I haven't had many, so this could be premature.).
Taste made me say wow out load. So much sour it is to the nth degree. It was about the only thing I can remember from the taste but I still thought there was a sweetness to the beer at the very beginning but that was it.
Lots, actually tons of carbonation on this light bodied beer. Dries out in the finish.
The sour was crazy but I really liked it. Not a beer for the faint of heart or someone that isn't fond of trying sour beers. The sour makes it difficult to have more than one of these. Enjoy!
