  • Poured clear with a initial 3/4 glass full of white, bubbly foam. Retention was average, especially for this amount of foam while it became thicker and frothier the more it receded. Lacing was sticky and sporadic.

Aroma is sweet, caramel, loads of honey, and small amounts of spice. Is that DMS lurking in there?

Taste is sweet which is throughout, seemingly the central point of the beer. Honey takes it roll early, along with the sweetness and is there to the end. A nice spicey hop presence meets and tries to balance the sweet. Still the sweet lingers and late in the beer I get a sense of metallic flavor on the tip of my tongue.

Light beer all the way around.

The alcohol is a non-factor in this seemingly light beer. The sweetness isn't overwhelming but it is turned up a notch. The off flavor and aroma just took the wind out my sail for this beer. Enjoy!
