  • A: Clear deep bronze amber. Off-white average foam quickly disaptes.

S: Floral than malty toffee, and finally mix of faint orange and pear.

T: Really nice balance of fruit, malt, and low citrusy hop bite. Low sweetness and the low side of medium mouthfeel and carbonation.

D: Great flavors mix, on the citrus floral side of things. It sounds like a cliche but this has a really good balance of all elements. Highly drinkable for an Imperial.

  • Pours clear with a small amount of off white foam

Aroma is hop bitterness first that comes from floral and very subtle citrus. Malt is of a light toffee.

Taste has sweet balanced by floral and citrus hops. The hops give a faint bitterness that makes it hard to understand this is a 100 IBU beer.

Light body with minimal carbonation. Drying with a bit of alcohol.

Steve called this beer mellow and I believe he hit the nail on the head. Nothing is over the top but well balanced. This is very drinkable for such a big beer. Enjoy!

  • Pours a copper color with little head leaving a fine swirl of thin head on top and spotty lacing.

Aroma is sweet with a mix of floral hops and maybe a citrus type hop and toffee malt.

Taste is surprisingly mellow. It is a well balanced beer that is smooth with a dry backend. A tasty floral hops on the tongue with hint of bitterness but not a lot.

Nice complex beer, very drinkable and enjoyable.

  • Classic deep gold to amber. It looks great on the pour Thin head big bubbles, little cling.
Pleasant aroma- a smooth slightly mild hop with a slight sweet malty end. Not an over powering aroma but clearly there and a hint of *at least* ok-ness.

I couldn't determine what hops I was smelling then I learned that all 'the C's' are used. That makes sense. It's very complicated and very pleasant. It isn't over powering and that's interesting as well. It actually lends itself to drink-ability.

A slight sweetness that makes me wonder what malts were used. It perfectly balances the numerous hops in it- which is great. This is a complicated beer with a lot going on and a lot to appreciate. It also isn't over powering and increases that drink-ability. Digging this beer.
