Before I went here, I called and emailed to find out availability and hours. Email got me in contact with the owner Ed. The phone call got me a pretty good idea of some of the breweries wares that they carried. In any even: helpful.
On driving up to the store, it looks like more of a "simple" beer store than the jackpot of a stop that it turned out to be. Greeted upon walking in, the owner knew my name based on my email. I like that.
I received a personal help from one of the workers, asking him which beers he would recommend. Having a honest helping hand was nice.
The selection was large and they sold everything in singles, which allows a visitor like myself to stock up for a somewhat reasonable price. I even scored a bottle of Surly Four from the cellar.
I will definitely be back again when I head up to the area. The great service, friendliness of the staff, and knowledge of the staff is top notch. Enjoy!
