I have been to Haymarket many times as it is only a few blocks from a former place of employment.
The quality of the food is above average but not great. Typically had the same item on the menu for lunch, but had tried other items previously. Nothing disappointed.
Service was typically what you expect in brewpub but there was one exception. This occurred when the waitress had no idea of the beers on the menu. How is that allowed to happen in a brewpub?
Just west of the loop in Chicago with 10 or more outside tables, great for people watching in the spring and summer, it is an inviting place. Inside, nothing sets it apart.
It is Chicago, prices are more expensive than this suburbanite likes to spend on a non-distributed beer served at it's place of origin.
Right off one of the many expressways, this is simple to find.
