Hop: Ekuanot®

Description

Ekuanot® was bred by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2014. The breeding was a joint venture between Select Botanicals Group and John I Haas, and planted in Toppenish, Washington. Lineage of Warrior® and wild hop varietal.

A very high oil content has made it desirable for aromatics.

The name was changed from Equinox to Ekuanot® over a trademark dispute that is not all that clear.
