Polaris was bred in Hüll, Germany and released in 2012 by Hop Research Institute. Very high in alpha acid and oils that create interesting aroma characteristics: wintergreen, menthol, eucalyptus, and green apple candy with Hallertau-like sweetness and herbal.
If you can't find Polaris, the best alternative is Herkules.
