Alliance Hops: Profile & Substitutions

Description

Alliance is a cross of Whitebread Golding and a C3 male, bred at Wye College in England in the late 1950's/early 1960's. The C3 male was a cross involving a sister of Brewer's Gold.

Initially bred as a replacement for Fuggle. No longer grown commercially as yields were slightly worse than Fuggle.
