Description

Sussex is an aroma hop that has classic European bittering: well rounded and mild. Brewing trials have created likeness to Fuggle.

Found in 2005 on Gate Court, Norhiam. A farm that has been operated for growing hops since at least 1900. It was propagated by Peter Cyster, the current owner of the farm, after being found in a hedgerow as it looked promising. Considered to be an open pollination dwarf hop.
