Pours clear with only the slightest of chill haze. Finger of white foam, covers. Fleeting head. Thick legs, leaving spotty traces stuck on the glass.
Aroma has citrus, orange and pine hops that is almost over powered by honey-like (possibly caramel) sweetness with a touch of bread.
Taste is a mix of the hops and malt: honey/caramel that stays through to the finish and end, lingering around with the unbalanced bitterness. Hops are more subdued. The finish is strange, indescribable for me as unpleasant.
Medium body with big carbonation. Dries the palate, slowly. Lingering, stiff bitterness.
A nice beer but has a few rough edges. The look and nose are the best assets, enticing, while the taste let's it down. I wouldn't turn down another. Enjoy!
